Lost w/o a paddle?

Lost continues to amuse me greatly but like many others, i'm haunted by the question "how do they make it payoff in the end?" At any given time, i'd be more inclined to suggest it will ultimately disappoint its fans, rather than end gloriously.

I don't understand why the world isn't agog about BBC's Britcom Peep Show. A six episode arc filmed in 2004 is perhaps the best three hours of televised content i've seen. It's Curb, Arrested Development and Seinfeld thrown into a blender. As my friend Josh remarks, what makes it even better is that all the situations are relatively realistic. Seriously, check it out. Rumor has it that Fox has licensed the concept for an American version. Which will no doubt be terrible.
